Recently, everyone has been watching large transfers on the chain and unusual movements in exchange hot and cold wallets, followed by interpretations like "smart money is coming/going"... I'm a bit overwhelmed. To put it simply, don't be scared by terms like data availability, ordering, finality—just follow one main thread: Has this transaction been recorded somewhere everyone can verify, and how long does it take to be truly stable? Some chains seem very fast, but in the end, they might still reverse; if you don't understand the ordering rules, just assume you might be behind and accept some slippage. For small funds, I now focus on two things: if I can wait, I wait for more confirmations; if I can't, I reduce my position. That's it for now.
