As Trump speaks, global assets fluctuate wildly
As Trump spoke, global assets experienced intense volatility. Brent crude oil rose by as much as 1.7%, reaching $102.89 per barrel; spot gold plunged nearly $60 in a short-term drop, currently at $4,737.15 per ounce. The futures of the three major U.S. stock indices all turned lower, with the Dow Jones futures down 0.28% and the Nasdaq 100 futures down 0.4%.
