Trump has a phone call with President Le, and the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire agreement may be announced on Thursday evening.
Mars Finance News, on April 16th, the Lebanese Presidential Office issued a statement that Lebanese President Aoun had a telephone call with U.S. President Trump. The statement said that Aoun thanked Trump for promoting the peace agreement process, and Trump promised to “meet Lebanon’s ceasefire request as soon as possible.” According to Axios, an Israeli Defense Ministry official said that a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon could be announced on Thursday evening local time. The official stated, “We are at a crossroads. There is no conclusion yet, but there may be a result today.” (Jin10)
