🔥Trump and the President of Lebanon had a phone call, and the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel may be announced on Thursday evening.
On April 16, the Lebanese Presidential Office issued a statement that Lebanese President Aoun had a phone call with U.S. President Trump. The statement said that Aoun thanked Trump for promoting the ceasefire agreement process, and Trump promised to fulfill Lebanon's ceasefire request as soon as possible.
According to Axios, an Israeli Defense Ministry official said that a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon could be announced on Thursday evening local time. The official stated that there is no definitive conclusion yet, but a result may be reached today.
