The Ethereum Foundation (EF), along with Secureum, The Red Guild, and the Security Alliance (SEAL), jointly announced the final report of the ETH Rangers project. Launched at the end of 2024, the project aims to fund independent researchers providing public security services for the Ethereum ecosystem. During the six-month funding period, 17 beneficiaries achieved significant results: recovering or freezing over $5.8 million; reporting or recording more than 785 vulnerabilities and client bugs; identifying approximately 100 North Korean (DPRK) IT personnel from different teams; and handling over 36 incident responses.
