Recently, I've seen people’s wallets being "mysteriously" emptied again. I checked the interaction records, and nine out of ten times it was because they previously granted unlimited permissions to a certain contract, and later the project changed its code / was taken over / they clicked on a phishing page. One time is enough. Revoking permissions is like sleeping—if you don’t do it immediately, you won’t feel anything, but if you keep delaying, something will go wrong... Now I revoke permissions every time I switch to a new dApp or finish testing, just a quick minute for peace of mind.
These past few days, there’s been talk about some region’s tax increases and compliance measures—sometimes tightening, sometimes loosening. When everyone’s expectations for deposits and withdrawals become chaotic, it’s easier to click links randomly and rush to operate. The more hurried, the more likely they are to treat "confirm authorization" as "confirm transaction." Anyway, I’d rather do two fewer transactions than wake up in the middle of the night staring at on-chain records in confusion. Staring at the charts for too long makes my eyes sore, so revoking permissions is a good way to take a break—just what I need.
