Proxy adviser ISS recommends vote against BP board over attempt to scrap some climate reporting
Influential proxy adviser ISS has recommended shareholders vote against BP’s board over its proposal to revoke previous climate reporting resolutions from 2015 and 2019. ISS stated that BP’s argument for retiring these resolutions, which passed with near 100% support, was not compelling enough to offset concerns. The adviser also opposed BP’s plan to hold online-only shareholder meetings.
