Just spent some time with Best Wallet and honestly, it's grown on me. This mobile-only app from 2023 is doing some interesting things if you're into DeFi and early token plays. The interface is clean, and you get access to over 60 blockchains without any KYC nonsense, which is pretty refreshing.
What caught my attention first was the presale integration - you can actually jump into token launches directly from the app, which saves a lot of hassle. The non-custodial setup means you hold your own keys, and they've got solid security features like biometric auth and 2FA. Cross-chain swaps work smoothly too, and the real-time price tracking is decent for monitoring your portfolio.
That said, there are some rough edges. It's mobile-only right now, so if you prefer desktop access or a browser extension, you're out of luck. Customer support is basically email and social media - no live chat, which feels limiting for a newer platform. The app's still on Phase 2 of their roadmap, so some features you'd expect aren't there yet, like limit orders or hardware wallet integration. I also noticed some Reddit complaints about occasional sync delays and confusing setup for beginners.
The ratings are all over the place online - 4 out of 5 on Google Play with over 500K downloads, 4.4 on the App Store, but only 2.2 on Trustpilot. That gap is interesting and worth noting. There's basically no public info about the team either, which is a trust factor for some people.
For presale chasers and DeFi enthusiasts who don't mind mobile-only, Best Wallet is solid. It's not replacing MetaMask or Rabby anytime soon, but it's a legit alternative if you want something modern that's actively developing. Just keep your eyes on that roadmap to see what they're actually shipping.
