Lately, I keep hearing people say, “It’s all written on-chain,” but the “on-chain” you’re seeing might already be late. If the nodes sync a little slowly, if the RPC gets queued up, and if the indexer hasn’t scanned the events yet—on your side it’s basically like living in a world that’s half a minute behind… and then when you panic, you end up chasing orders right then, just in time to give the trap some warmth. I got caught by the trap too many times before I started paying attention to routing, switching RPCs, and comparing two block explorers—at least to confirm whether it’s truly happening on-chain, or whether your display is just slow.
That whole blockchain game setup is pretty similar, too: from the data side it looks fine, but reward payouts and transaction records lag behind. Everyone thinks they can still run it, the studios keep pumping inflation, and once the coin price dips, it spirals downward. By the time you see the “on-chain” getting worse, it’s already half a beat too late. Anyway, I’d rather be slower now—wait for an extra confirmation before trading, trust one fewer dashboard. Forget it, I won’t talk about this anymore.
