Some of you take the definition of liquidity sweeps too literally
Take for example the previous month high sweep on $BTC, a $10 sweep
I'm not a bull but this sweep is not enough for a rotation to range lows imo
The purpose of sweeps is to take stops and fill limit orders. Some traders had soft stops and not everyone had hard stops or limits precisely on that wick. Even if you check a liquidity heatmap, there are still limit orders above that wick that weren't tagged.
So for this reason, a $10 sweep defeats the logic of a meaningful sweep on such a HTF chart and should not be taken as a short signal
