Fire Mars Finance news: On April 16, publicly listed Bitcoin miner HIVE Digital Technologies announced a private placement of $75 million in 0% convertible senior notes (maturing in 2031). The proceeds will be used for GPU procurement, data center expansion, and general corporate purposes. The company has obtained conditional approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange, and its shares are expected to transfer from the TSX Venture Exchange to the main board (TSX) around April 30. Meanwhile, HIVE continues its transformation toward high-performance computing and AI workloads. In March this year, due to a tax dispute with the Swedish local government, the company announced a gradual cessation of ASIC Bitcoin mining activities at its Boden facility in Sweden and upgraded the facility to a tier-3 high-performance computing data center to support GPU clusters.
