Been watching some interesting plays in the chip and cloud infrastructure space lately. If you've got capital to deploy, here are a couple of stock companies to invest in that caught my attention.

First up is Broadcom. Their AI accelerator chips are absolutely crushing it right now. We're talking about 65% sales growth to $20 billion in their last fiscal year, and these custom chips are eating into Nvidia's dominance because they're way more cost-efficient at scale for the hyperscalers. That's becoming a big deal. Their total revenue jumped 24% with earnings up 40%, and the momentum looks like it's just getting started. For fiscal 2026, analysts are modeling 52% revenue growth and 51% EPS growth. Yeah, you read that right. Those are the kind of growth rates that justify looking at stocks to invest in right now, even with the valuation sitting at 32x forward earnings.

Then there's IBM. This one's a turnaround story that actually worked. Their CEO came in around 2020 and basically rebuilt the company around hybrid cloud and AI instead of competing head-to-head with Amazon and other public cloud giants. They spun off the slow business, kept Red Hat, and now they're positioned for companies that want flexibility with multi-cloud setups. Revenue grew 8% last year with earnings up 12%, and they're expecting continued growth this year. The valuation's more reasonable at 21x forward earnings, so there's room to run.

Obviously macro conditions are unpredictable and markets are near record highs, but if you're thinking in terms of years rather than months, these are the kind of stock companies to invest in that should deliver solid returns. Both are riding secular trends that aren't going away anytime soon. Worth keeping on your radar if you're looking to put money to work.
