just stumbled on this video about Indie Semiconductor (INDI) - apparently it's a semiconductor stock trading under $10. the whole angle is like 'ridiculously cheap growth play' which honestly caught my attention at first. but then they start pushing their Motley Fool subscription and saying INDI wasn't even in their top 10 picks, which is kind of funny? like why hype it if it didn't make your own list lol. the video's from early 2024 so prices are probably different now anyway. i get the appeal of hunting for semiconductor stocks under $10 - there's definitely some beaten-down names in that space right now. but the whole 'should you invest $1k right now' framing feels like it's trying to create urgency. anyone actually holding semiconductor plays in this range? curious if people are still looking at these cheaper semiconductor stocks or if everyone moved on to the mega caps
