Just saw some wild numbers on this congressman's portfolio. Representative Shri Thanedar apparently made $271.7K in the stock market last month alone, according to Quiver Quantitative's tracking. Pretty solid gains if you ask me.
His overall Shri Thanedar net worth is sitting around $41.5M as of mid-2025, which puts him in the top 30 wealthiest members of Congress. The guy's got about $8.1M in publicly traded assets that are being monitored, so it's not like he's hiding anything.
Looking at his actual trades, some interesting moves stand out. He sold like $250K of APO back in early 2023 - that stock is up 113.8% since then, so timing wasn't perfect there. Also dumped $100K of AXP around the same time (up 107.45%) and another $100K of TSLA in August 2022. There's also a $50K loss on CHRS that dropped 90% - ouch.
Beyond the market activity, Thanedar's net worth portfolio includes his fundraising operations. He pulled in $45.8K in Q1 2025 from individual donors, sitting on $6.1M in cash for his political operations. The guy's clearly diversified between his personal investments and his political machine.
It's interesting to track how these politicians manage their wealth while in office. Thanedar seems to be doing alright for himself in the markets.
