The agency immediately issued tsunami warnings to multiple coastal areas. The agency stated that this earthquake could trigger tsunamis in North Maluku and North Sulawesi regions. It has urged local governments to guide residents in coastal areas to stay away from beaches and riverbanks. Currently, there are no reports of casualties or significant property damage.
