CryptoWorld News reports that Iran has proposed allowing ships on the Oman side of the Strait of Hormuz to pass freely in response to the threat that the United States may impose an “indefinite” blockade on its ports. The global energy market continues to fluctuate: the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah oil inventories have fallen to a nine-year low, Japan plans to release national oil reserves, and the U.S. Energy Secretary said no further releases are needed. As for precious metals, the global silver market is expected to experience a supply shortage for the sixth consecutive year.
