Recently, someone has been taking "on-chain data" as the ultimate truth, and I’ve become a bit more cautious... Slow node synchronization, a brief RPC hiccup, the indexer falling behind—those transaction you see, that swap, might already be a "edited replay." To put it simply, the ongoing series we’re following often starts writing reviews before the latest episode has even aired.
I’ve set a rule for myself: when I see a certain address suddenly become hot, or a narrative suddenly ignite, I wait a bit before getting excited. At least check with a different RPC or browser first, or I might get misled by the "late-on-chain" rhythm. Just like recently, when ETF fund flows and US stock risk appetite were interpreted together, the market sentiment moved much faster than the blockchain. I still prefer to be a step behind, to see things clearly before jumping in.
