I’m getting a divorce from my wife and going to the Civil Affairs Bureau to handle the paperwork.


The couple in front of me didn’t say a word the whole time, kept cold faces, and you could tell right away they just couldn’t make it work anymore.
When it was our turn, the staff member glanced at the form and said, “You’ve only been married for three months?”
My wife said, “Yes.”
The staff member asked again, “Are you sure you want to get divorced?”
My wife said, “Yes, I am.”
The staff member sighed and stamped it.
