I used to think running testnets was just practice: clicking around, getting familiar with wallet signatures, losing some gas as tuition. Now it's different; everyone talks about "points," but secretly they all assume "what can I exchange them for in the future," so I also get itchy to join in... and then it easily starts to feel more like clocking in at work.

My current stop-loss is pretty simple: once I start paying attention to others' "large on-chain transfers" or "exchanges' hot and cold wallet movements" as signals of smart money, I know my mindset is off, and I immediately take a break for a day. Next is a budget cap: spend it all this week and then stop, don’t use "it's almost time" as an excuse to renew. Honestly, practice can get addictive, but once expectations get high, it’s easy to become a bag-holder. I definitely don’t want to be a free QA for projects with emotional baggage... that’s all for now.
