Wu Shuo learned that Akash founder Greg Osuri said that Cosmos management has adjusted the authorization approach for a key component, which means Akash is currently unable to use it in a production environment, nor for any commercial purposes, and also cannot provide services to third parties based on that component. Greg Osuri said that when Akash previously announced it would migrate to a shared security layer, it originally still planned to retain some Cosmos integration, at least to maintain interoperability; but these new licensing terms make it almost impossible for Akash to remain in the Cosmos ecosystem, which he described as a “hostile” adjustment.
