The more I watch MEV, the more it feels like “cutting in line”: some people place orders ahead of you, some people wedge you in the middle, and in the end, the ones who usually lose out are retail traders who manually place orders, or people doing small swaps—slippage and failure fees get worn down bit by bit. Put simply, sorting power isn’t fair; it doesn’t just affect emotions, it affects the execution price and your costs.

What’s even more annoying is that now a bunch of AI agents automatically run on-chain interactions—stories hype it up, but when you actually use it, they just end up colliding with the same queue more frequently… No one really digs into security and permissions management. Anyway, if I can take private/protected routes, I’ll do it; I also tighten per-transaction limits and tighten tolerable slippage. Predictions aren’t necessarily accurate, so I fill the holes first.
