Wu said that Aave Labs announced the launch of the governance security system Aave Checkpoint, which uses AI to automatically review DAO proposals, requiring at least two human reviewers to recheck before the proposal can be executed on-chain. This aims to prevent parameter misconfigurations, hidden code vulnerabilities, or malicious operations in proposals. Aave stated that the system has been in use since March 2026, and all governance proposals processed during this period have been incorporated into this process. In terms of review scope, the system not only checks for common contract vulnerabilities but also focuses on typical DeFi risks such as oracle manipulation, liquidation logic anomalies, flash loan attack vectors, proxy upgrade security, and unintended interactions with neighboring governance modules.
