Mujtaba calls on Iranian people to plant trees "in the name of martyrs"

According to Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency, the country’s Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Hamenei, issued a message on the day to commemorate Iran’s Islamic Republic Day. In the message, he called on the Iranian people to “plant tree seedlings in the name of martyrs.” Mujtaba said that planting tree seedlings symbolizes prosperity and hope, and is also a response to the “despicable enemy that murders children.” April 1 is Iran’s Islamic Republic Day. This year, April 2 is also Iran’s other public holiday, “Nature Day.” (Xinhua News Agency)
