🔥U.S. CFTC Launches Investigation into Suspicious Oil Trades Before Trump’s Iran Policy Shift


According to Bloomberg, the United States' top derivatives regulator is investigating a series of "exceptionally well-timed" crude oil futures trades that occurred prior to Trump’s recent policy adjustments regarding Iran war. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the investigation has been initiated. The CFTC is leading the probe into crude oil futures contracts traded on the CME Group and Intercontinental Exchange platforms. The sources stated that, due to confidentiality, they requested anonymity. Currently, both trading platforms have been asked to submit relevant trading data to regulators to assist with the investigation.
