Akanda Corp.'s subsidiary, First Towers & Fiber Corp. (FTF), expanded its dark fiber network in Central Mexico by 200 km, bringing its total coverage to 900 km. This expansion secured approximately $2 million in 10-year contracted cash flow from existing enterprise customers and strengthens FTF’s presence in the Bajío industrial region. The move is part of Akanda’s strategy to consolidate premium fiber assets across Mexico and build a high-margin digital infrastructure platform.
