FedEx’s third fiscal quarter revenue was $24 billion, compared to analyst expectations of $23.49 billion.
Third quarter Federal Express revenue was $21.15 billion, versus analyst expectations of $4.31 billion.
Third quarter FedEx Freight revenue was $1.99 billion, compared to analyst expectations of $2.03 billion.
Third quarter adjusted operating profit was $1.62 billion, compared to analyst expectations of $1.37 billion.
Third quarter adjusted operating profit margin was 6.7%, compared to analyst expectations of 6.02%.
Third quarter adjusted earnings per share (EPS) were $5.25, versus analyst expectations of $4.17.
The full-year adjusted EPS is expected to be between $19.3 and $20.1, while the company originally forecasted $17.8 to $19.
Full-year capital expenditures are projected to reach up to $4.1 billion, compared to analyst expectations of $4.31 billion, and the company originally expected $4.5 billion.
