Recently, everyone has been interpreting large on-chain transfers and exchange hot and cold wallet movements as "smart money," but honestly, it's mostly noise. Cross-chain matters are even more prone to being manipulated: after one IBC/message passing/bridge transfer, who do you actually trust? It's not just "Chain A and Chain B," you also have to trust the relays/validators, light clients/proof logic, bridge contracts, and even the frontend and the route you click... Any misstep in these links can turn into an accident, and slippage and liquidity depth will teach you a lesson too. My noise reduction strategy is simple: before crossing, clearly keep in mind "who am I trusting," the longer the trust chain, the smaller the order I place. Just do that for now.
