Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Hope all parties work together to promote the early normalization of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz

Regarding reports from foreign media that Iran and Oman will charge tolls for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated during a routine press conference on the 8th that the Strait of Hormuz is an important international route for cargo and energy trade. Maintaining security, stability, and smooth passage in this region aligns with the common interests of the international community.
