Poll: Most American people do not support launching a large-scale ground war against Iran

On March 19th local time, a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that about 65% of Americans believe President Trump will order a large-scale ground war against Iran, but only 7% support this approach. The survey results indicate clear divisions in American society regarding war. Approximately 37% of respondents support the current military actions against Iran, while 59% oppose them; among them, 77% of Republicans support strikes on Iran, whereas only 6% of Democrats do, and 28% of independent voters. Regarding ground forces, 55% of respondents oppose any form of ground deployment; however, 34% of Americans support sending a small number of special forces for targeted operations. (CCTV News)
