Customs statistics show that in the first two months of 2026, Guangxi’s foreign trade imports and exports reached 142.27 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%, setting a new record for the same period in history. Among them, imports and exports to ASEAN totaled 66.37 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5%, accounting for 46.7% of the total foreign trade value. ASEAN remains Guangxi’s largest trading partner. Guangxi enterprises actively explore emerging markets in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, with imports and exports to Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East amounting to 23.27 billion yuan, 11.44 billion yuan, and 9.88 billion yuan, respectively, with growth rates of 57.3%, 9.8%, and 63.1%.
