Chinese urea companies' inventory levels increased by 3% month-on-month

On April 8, 2026, China’s urea enterprises had a total inventory of 55.21 million tons (552,100 tons), up 1.61 million tons from the previous period and up 3.00% month over month. During this period, domestic urea enterprise inventories stopped falling and rose slightly. This was mainly because demand in some peripheral regions weakened on a temporary, phased basis, resulting in slight increases in enterprise inventories across the board but with varying degrees. In the main production and sales regions, urea factories had either virtually no inventory or inventory at low levels, and inventory fluctuations were small. (Longzhong Information)
