Seeing a whale move makes me want to follow the order, is it really copying others? I also get itchy hands, but now I prefer to cool down first: For large transactions, some are building positions, some are purely hedging or arbitraging, and some even "patch" the other side's position; if you rush in, you become their liquidity.
I usually first check whether they are gradually eating in batches or making one buy and one sell; then see if there are derivatives/stablecoins switching back and forth from the same address, and on-chain retention and historical loss positions can also reveal their personality. Recently, AI Agents and automated trading narratives have become popular again, to be honest, robots are better at acting, but if safety isn't carefully considered, granting authorization might just hand yourself over... Anyway, I’d rather miss out than become fuel for the hype.
