After I muted the group, the world suddenly became peaceful, and the candlestick charts didn’t seem so urgent… But I also realized I often lag behind when “watching the chain.” Even when others say a certain address just moved, my browser still shows old data, only updating after a few minutes, like watching a show with spoilers and slow loading.
To put it simply, what you see on the chain isn’t necessarily a problem with the chain itself; often it’s the nodes, RPC forwarding, or indexing services queuing: some have caching, some limit traffic, and some just glitch out. Recently, modularization and the narrative around the data layer (DA) have been hot topics, and developers are excited, while ordinary users are confused. In fact, the more granular the underlying layers become, the longer the data paths, and the feeling is “why hasn’t it changed after I refresh?” Anyway, when I see “on-chain event occurred,” I first assume: maybe my route is just congested. That’s it for now, time to make some tea.
