Recently, people keep saying "I saw it on the chain," and I just want to laugh... The "on-chain" part you see might have already been processed through nodes/RPC/indexing as a few megaphones. Last night, I was watching a transaction, hash 0x7b3…e91, showing pending in A's browser, but B's side already marked it as success. I thought I was seeing things, but switching to a different RPC immediately matched the timeline. To put it simply, the chain isn't lying; it's just that the water pipe you're connected to is a bit clogged.

And now, the L2s are arguing over TPS, fees, and subsidies like a marketplace, but when you actually use them, don't rush to pick a side. First, ask yourself: Is the data I see "the latest" or "cached from indexing"? Anyway, before placing an order, I now look at the mempool/events a couple more times to avoid being affected by the "delayed truth"... That's all for now.
