Just noticed BTC is holding strong around the 73K zone lately. There's been some chatter about why bitcoin price is going up, and a lot of people are pointing to what looks like possible intervention from the Bank of Japan as one of the factors. When central banks start moving, it tends to ripple through the crypto market pretty quickly.
The thing is, when you see moves like this, it's usually a mix of things happening at once. Could be macro conditions, could be the yen situation affecting carry trades, could be just market sentiment shifting. Either way, it's interesting to watch how these traditional finance moves end up affecting crypto. The correlation between currency markets and bitcoin has been pretty noticeable lately.
Keeping an eye on whether this momentum holds or if we see some pullback. These kinds of moves powered by external factors can go either way pretty fast.
