Our country’s independently designed and built first 180k cubic meter liquefied natural gas carrier has been successfully completed in Nantong, Jiangsu, and meets the delivery conditions. The ship was built at China Merchants Shipbuilding Haimen Yard, with a total length of 298.8 meters and a beam of 48 meters. It features a dual-fuel low-speed propulsion system, offering advantages such as low evaporation rate and high environmental protection performance, marking a significant breakthrough for our country in the field of large clean energy vessel construction. This ship is also currently the largest liquefied natural gas carrier built and completed in China. (CCTV News)
