Recently, someone argued with me about "on-chain data," and honestly, what you're seeing might also be delayed. Which node you're connected to, which RPC provider you're using, whether there's caching or rate limiting behind the scenes, or if the indexing service is acting up—all of these can make you think something just happened when in fact it’s already been minutes... This is especially critical in front-running and stop-loss situations. I used to keep an eye on cross-chain price differences, but with a combination of high fees and delays, my profits disappeared and my mindset broke down. Now I mainly set rules and just accept missing out. Modularization and the DA (Data Availability) layer have been hyped up among developers lately, but regular users see a bunch of layers and services and get even more confused: who’s providing the data, how fast, how accurate—anyway, don’t be too superstitious about "what I see is what’s happening now." I’m going to bed now.
