Recently, I was discussing the terms "data availability, ordering, finality" with a friend. They sound pretty intimidating, but I think focusing on one main thread is enough: whether you can get proof that "this transaction actually happened," and whether others can reorder or alter the outcome. Data availability, simply put, is whether you can verify the contents of the ledger yourself; ordering is whether someone has jumped the queue; finality is how long you have to wait before you can confidently say it’s "settled." When I evaluate projects now, I don’t start with concepts; I ask: where is the data publicly available, who can change the order, how long before it becomes irreversible… Once the logic clicks, there’s no need to worry. By the way, hardware wallets are out of stock lately, and phishing links are everywhere. The more "professional-looking" these words and pages seem, the more suspicious you should be—wait a bit longer before clicking.
