It's interesting that Japan's Minister of Finance now openly supports trading cryptocurrencies on stock exchanges. This is already serious — when government officials of such a level speak about crypto, it's not just news, it's a signal that the mainstream financial world is changing.
Previously, it was taboo, but now even ministers acknowledge that crypto should be part of traditional markets. Japan has always been progressive in this regard, but when they officially state this at such a high level — it means other countries will also start moving in this direction.
I think we are witnessing how crypto is moving from the margins into the mainstream financial systems. It's no longer a question of 'if,' but 'when' other nations will do the same.
