Abstract generation in progress

Today, Alibaba Cloud Coding Plan subscription service fully supports Qoder. With Qoder, users can instantly experience a series of models in Coding Plan, such as Qwen 3.5, GLM-5, and Kimi-K2.5, covering capabilities including inference, programming, multimodal, and Agents.

Qoder is Alibaba’s agentic programming platform developed in-house. It integrates the world’s top programming models and powerful programming agents, enabling autonomous AI R&D and significantly improving the development efficiency of real software.

Now, after users activate Alibaba Cloud Coding Plan, when using the above models in Qoder, there is no consumption of Qoder Credits. The actual model invocation fees are covered by the Bailian Coding Plan package, which can greatly reduce usage costs.

$1 Why do Coding Plan models perform so well in Qoder

Bailian Coding Plan provides low-cost model invocation. However, models perform differently across different tools. Qoder is built around the Agentic Engineering philosophy, providing a complete engineering capability so that the same model can deliver better results.

Enhanced Context Engineering

Qoder’s context engine combines deep codebase analysis with adaptive memory, supporting codebase analysis for up to 100k files. Coding Plan models in Qoder can understand the full project structure, not just the currently open file. If you change an interface, the related type definitions, test files, and callers will all be included in the context. The more complete the context is, the more accurate the model’s outputs are.

Quest Autonomous Programming Agent

When developers write a piece of requirement description, Qoder first clarifies the intent and generates a Spec (technical solution) aligned with that intent. After confirmation, it can be handed over to the Coding Plan model for independent execution—delivering code, tests, and change notes. The output from the same model is more precise, with less rework. The whole process does not require you to monitor the chat window step by step.

Knowledge Visualization

Qoder’s Repo Wiki feature can automatically generate architecture documentation for codebases (currently, more than 400k codebase Wikis have been generated). This makes codebases easier for both humans and AI to understand. Clear project knowledge reduces hallucinations in models, and helps maintain consistent and accurate outputs when handling complex projects.

Model Pairing

For everyday coding tasks (writing CRUD, calling APIs, running tests), use Coding Plan models—0 Credits. For complex tasks (architecture design, code review), switch to the world’s top models built into Qoder for planning, then choose the Coding Plan model to execute.

$1 Qoder Three-Step Tutorial for Configuring Coding Plan

Step 1: After downloading and installing Qoder, open Qoder settings. After entering the model page, click “Add.”

Step 2: In the pop-up window, choose and set provider 【Alibaba Cloud Bailian】 and type 【Coding plan】. Select the models supported as needed, and enter your Coding Plan API Key.

Step 3: Click Add. After validation, the model configuration is complete. After configuration, select the corresponding model in the chat panel to start using it.

Bailian Coding Plan now supports Qoder Personal Edition (Pro Trial, Pro, Pro+, Ultra). Qoder IDE and CLI are already available. The Qoder JetBrains plugin and the Qoder Teams version will also be supported soon, providing developers worldwide with more flexible options for connecting models.

In addition, next week Lingma will also fully support Coding Plan, bringing Chinese developers a low-cost, high-efficiency AI programming experience.
