Mars Finance reports that on April 15, the blockchain gaming infrastructure team Lattice announced that they will gradually shut down their business after five years of operation. Their Layer 2 network Redstone will cease operation on May 16, 2026, at 07:59. Lattice reminds users to withdraw their funds before this deadline, especially assets in contracts such as Uniswap pools. After shutdown, only L1 withdrawal contracts will be deployed for external account balance withdrawals; funds within contracts will be unrecoverable. It is understood that Lattice was established in 2021, developing tools such as the MUD framework, Redstone chain, Quarry, and Dozer, but failed to achieve a sustainable business model. The team will use remaining funds for the final project DUST Autonomous World, but its scale did not reach the level needed to support the business, and they do not believe VC funding is the right path.
