Decentralized social protocol Farcaster has officially clarified that it has no plans to issue a token. The official said that the token information recently circulating is actually related to Farcaster’s forked protocol Hypersnap. The team has been referring to it as the “Farcaster token,” which has led to misunderstandings in the community. Farcaster said it does not want related speculative activity to introduce a large number of bots and “airdrop hunters,” thereby harming the user experience, and emphasized that its current focus is still building a better network.
