$DNX Fueled by the news that NVIDIA is promoting the implementation of quantum computing, the quantum computing sector surged collectively on Tuesday!
On Tuesday local time, NVIDIA announced that its open-source model family has welcomed a new member—the “Ising” quantum artificial intelligence model—designed to accelerate the development of quantum processors.
Fueled by the news that “the global stock king is pushing for the implementation of quantum computing,” the quantum computing sector surged collectively on Tuesday. As of press time, SEALSQ rose 18.46%, IonQ rose 18.36%, D-Wave Quantum rose 14.51%, quantum computing companies rose 11.62%, and Rigetti Computing rose 11.24%.
In brief, NVIDIA’s models target two major pain points in turning quantum computers into reliable computers: quantum processor calibration and quantum error correction.
According to NVIDIA, this set of models includes the “Ising” calibration visual language model, which quickly interprets and responds to measurement results from quantum processors, enabling AI agents to continuously automate calibration and shorten the time required from several days to a few hours.
