🔥IMF lowers global economic growth forecast for 2026 to 3.1%, Middle East conflict impacts growth momentum


According to Xinhua News Agency, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released the latest issue of the "World Economic Outlook Report" on April 14, lowering the 2026 global economic growth forecast by 0.2 percentage points to 3.1%. The report states that the Middle East conflict has significantly affected the current global economic growth momentum. If the conflict and high oil prices persist longer, this year's global economic growth could fall to 2.5% or lower.
