Lately, watching a bunch of memes and celebrities, just one shout and all attention is pulled away. Honestly, the hardest part isn't choosing the right asset, but whether you can fall asleep at night.
I've also tried that "all-in" feeling before—feeling like a chosen one during the day when prices rise, then retreating at night and browsing on-chain data for comfort... Anyway, it's pretty exhausting.
Grid/DCA feels more like a travel journal to me: plan the route, take it slow, the returns may not be spectacular, but emotional swings are much smaller, at least not sweating over the screen until your palms sweat. There are downsides too—when the market really goes crazy, you might feel you're moving too slowly and earning a bit less.
If a newcomer asks me, I usually just say: don't take the last step, especially when everyone online is shouting "it's about to take off." The way to sleep well is often the way you can stick with.
