The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the 6th stating that they have destroyed the bunker of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei in the center of Tehran.
The statement said that approximately 50 Israeli military aircraft, based on “precise intelligence,” targeted the underground fortress located in the “Leadership Complex” of Iran.
This bunker was originally Khamenei’s emergency security command center, spanning multiple streets in downtown Tehran, with several entrances and conference rooms used by Iran’s top officials.
Destroying this bunker “will further weaken Iran’s regime’s command and control capabilities.”
On the 3rd, the Israeli military issued a statement saying that they struck the “Iranian regime leadership complex— the most core and important headquarters of the Iranian regime” located in downtown Tehran, dropping “a large amount of munitions” on the presidential palace and the Supreme National Security Council building.
