After it came out, I told my friends that now all applications would have to shift their computing power over there to train AI with AI.
So I told him that storage, optics, CPO chips—everything—had only just started, and the bubble hadn’t even appeared yet; we needed to get to the final one.
A few days later, all the AI became as if they’d been dumbed down, with slow speed, slow reasoning, and sometimes answers that didn’t match the question—basically confirming it.
I’m saying all this, going on about nothing and everything, just to feel one thing: how incredibly important independent thinking is.
