Deep Tide TechFlow News. April 14, according to a report by Bloomberg, insiders said that the United States and Iran are discussing holding a new round of in-person negotiations, with the aim of reaching a longer-term ceasefire agreement before the current two-week ceasefire announced on April 7 expires next week. The proposals under discussion currently include returning to Islamabad or choosing other locations to hold the second round of talks, with officials from Turkey and Egypt also participating in the mediation. U.S. Vice President Vance said that the negotiations have made substantial progress, but stressed that “the ball is in Tehran’s court.” Trump said Iran has already proactively contacted the U.S. side and expressed its hope to reach an agreement. Iran denied any intention to develop nuclear weapons, but insisted on its right to uranium enrichment, and said that differences cannot be resolved in a single round of talks, leaving room for further dialogue.
