The European Parliament resumes efforts to approve the US-Europe trade agreement

The Central Television reporter learned that on March 19th, local time, the European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade approved the legislative approval process related to the EU-U.S. trade agreement with a vote of 29 in favor. Despite the recent launch of a new investigation into EU trade policies by the United States, which could trigger additional tariffs, European Parliament members still decided to continue advancing the relevant procedures, provided that the U.S. complies with the trade agreement terms reached between both sides last summer, including setting a 15% tariff cap on most EU exports.
