Today marks one month since I started trading on Gate. It’s also a fresh start for a trader with 12 years of experience 😄.

I first got into trading back in 2014. At that time, I naively thought trading was just simple buying and selling. Between 2014 and 2015, I casually used a few indicators and made over ten times the profit in the A-shares market. I thought Buffett was just so-so. It felt like I was the protagonist on TV, and everyone else was just NPCs. Then I experienced the stock market crash of 2015. That year, I realized how cold Shanghai winters can be. Desolate. At one point, I thought I couldn’t get out of it.

Then, over the next four years, I kept struggling and repeating. Constantly paying off debts. During these years, I gained enlightenment. I am also grateful for the help from those I met, which helped me get out of the predicament.

Haha, life is like that. I thought that understanding trading would lead to financial freedom. But in reality, my business grew even more prosperous. From 2019 to 2024, just five years, I unexpectedly earned over 40 million.

But life, ah. Who can explain it clearly? On my birthday in 2023, the company was taken away by Uncle Hat. After I was released on bail, I barely kept my freedom after almost losing all my wealth.

Last year, I had no idea how I got through the whole year. The situation was worse than in 2015.

All my assets combined were less than 50,000 yuan. I still had a 20,000 yuan monthly loan to handle.

But life can be wonderful anywhere. I picked up trading again and moved forward. Maybe trading is the path I need to take, I can’t say for sure. I have reasons to succeed. At the same time, I also understand how to survive in this market.
